Single Stair

This is a speculative proposal for single-stair multifamily housing on a vacant urban lot. The two buildings are conceptual “twins” and nearly identical. Their ground-level specificities are tailored to their placement on the larger site, but the program remains the same. Above the ground floor, everything repeats itself as a series of four-unit floor plans with a shared communal “porch” at the stair landing. The twins differentiate themselves by how they wear the stanardized facade panels. One is four by eight, the other eight by four.
